ADVANTICSYS is pleased to announce its participation in REV-UP (IntegRated clean Energy harVesting modUlar enveloPe systems for Positive energy buildings), a European research and innovation project funded under the CET Partnership Joint Call 2024.
REV-UP is coordinated by Joanneum Research and brings together a multidisciplinary European consortium composed of research organisations, universities, SMEs and technology providers from seven European countries, covering a wide range of expertise in building technologies, energy systems, digitalisation and applied research.
The project focuses on the development of integrated ZEB solution packages, combining smart building envelope technologies, renewable energy systems, energy storage, efficient heating and cooling, and advanced ICT and energy management platforms. These solutions enable data-driven energy optimisation, increased self-consumption, and flexibility at building level, supporting the transition towards smart and sustainable buildings.
Within the REV-UP consortium, ADVANTICSYS contributes as ICT and digitalisation partner, building on its experience in IoT platforms, industrial data acquisition, cloud-based energy monitoring and AI-enabled analytics. Advanticsys leads the development of the project’s digital infrastructure, including interoperable data management frameworks, intelligent analytics and user-centric digital services that connect building systems, energy devices and real-time operational data. This digital layer enables smart energy management, predictive insights and supports buildings and occupants in acting as prosumers and flexibility providers.
From a technological perspective, REV-UP advances high-performance façade systems, solar-powered glazed surfaces, autonomous ventilation units and ICT-enabled control and optimisation services, which will be validated in real buildings across multiple European climate zones.
Running from November 2025 to November 2028, REV-UP represents a total investment of approximately €3.26 million in the development and demonstration of scalable Zero-Emission Building and smart energy solutions.
By combining digitalisation, IoT technologies, energy analytics and user-centric tools, REV-UP reinforces ADVANTICSYS’ role in delivering innovative digital solutions for smart buildings, energy efficiency and the decarbonisation of the built environment.
