We are excited to announce that ADVANTICSYS is proud to be a part of the DR-RISE project, an ambitious initiative aimed at enhancing energy resilience across Europe. The DR-RISE project focuses on developing and implementing innovative demand response solutions to strengthen the stability and sustainability of energy systems.

At ADVANTICSYS, we bring our expertise in advanced monitoring and control technologies to the project, working closely with our partners to integrate cutting-edge solutions that empower consumers to play an active role in energy management. Our goal is to help reshape the future of energy use by making systems more flexible, reducing energy costs, and contributing to a cleaner, more sustainable environment.

DR-RISE consortium
What is DR-RISE?

DR-RISE (Demand Response for Resilience, Stability, and Energy Efficiency) is a groundbreaking European initiative that seeks to enhance energy resilience by empowering consumers to adjust their energy consumption in response to supply conditions. The project’s aim is to address current energy challenges, improve grid stability, and promote energy savings by optimizing demand response strategies.

With participation from top industry players and research institutions, DR-RISE is at the forefront of technological innovation in the energy sector. ADVANTICSYS, as part of the project consortium, will contribute to developing integrated solutions that enable real-time energy monitoring, demand control, and data-driven decision-making.

Our Role

As a leader in the field of energy management systems, ADVANTICSYS will be contributing its technological expertise to ensure the seamless integration of demand response strategies. Our role in DR-RISE includes:

  • Developing advanced sensor and monitoring systems for real-time energy consumption tracking.
  • Providing smart energy control solutions to support flexibility in energy use.
  • Collaborating with project partners to design scalable and user-friendly platforms for energy management.
  • Implementing solutions that help consumers reduce energy costs while contributing to grid stability.
Looking Ahead

Through our participation in DR-RISE, we are committed to driving innovation in the energy sector and contributing to a resilient, sustainable energy future for all. We believe that demand response solutions will play a critical role in reducing energy consumption and stabilizing energy grids, helping to meet the challenges posed by the energy transition.

Stay tuned for updates on our journey as part of the DR-RISE project!

advanticsys successfully commissioned a real-time wireless mesh monitoring solution for string combiner boxes at a 75MWp plant in Khanak Harayana, India for Sterling & Wilson as end-customer.

This project is part of our portfolio in India where we are currently monitoring more than 600 MW since 2019 when a strategic alliance with local partners Alltronix was established.

Our innovative approach relies on the robustness of our DM-108 bridge installed in each of the string monitoring boxes at site, wirelessly connected to several master stations where all data is logged and integrated into the plant SCADA seamlessly.

Compared to other technologies, DM-108 has a very strong noise rejection (quite important in solar plants where electromagnetic environment changes through time), co-exists with other wireless networks without any interference problem and near real-time data transmission (tests have ensured polling periods below 5 secs for the whole plant).

More information about this and the rest of our solar plants monitoring projects can be found in our project dedicated area

advanticsys, one of the international leaders in the supply of wireless monitoring solutions for string combiner boxes, presented at Intersolar South America – Latin America’s largest exhibition and conference for the solar industry.

During the Expo. advanticsys introduced its joint cooperation with string monitoring units manufacturer Kernel Sistemi who made possible the development of our IEC 61724-1-2021 Class A complaint wireless monitoring systems with a very strong noise rejection (quite important in solar plants where electromagnetic environment changes through time), co-exists with other wireless networks without any interference problem (such as solar trackers) and near real-time data transmission (tests have ensured polling periods below 5 secs for the whole plant).

More information about our more than 700 MW wirelessly monitored since 2019 in countries such as Spain, India, Turkey or Australia can be found in our project dedicated area

advanticsys will take part in the trade show to be held from October 18-20 at Expo Center Norte, Sao Paulo, Brazil. With more than 28,000 visitors expected, Intersolar South America is Latin America’s largest exhibition and conference for the solar industry.

Our company, one of the international leaders in the supply of wireless monitoring solutions for string combiner boxes, will present its joint cooperation with string monitoring units manufacturer Kernel Sistemi, Both companies have successfully commissioned more than 700 MW wirelessly monitored since 2019 in countries such as Spain, India, Turkey or Australia.

Compared to other technologies, we ensure compliance with IEC 61724-1-2021 Class A monitoring systems with a very strong noise rejection (quite important in solar plants where electromagnetic environment changes through time), co-exists with other wireless networks without any interference problem (such as solar trackers) and near real-time data transmission (tests have ensured polling periods below 5 secs for the whole plant).

4mwp-floating-solar-pv-project-in-andhra-pradesh_photo2-1-1280x960.jpeg

advanticsys has successfully delivered its first wireless monitoring solution in a floating solar plant in India. It is a 4MWp plant at the Kailasagiri Reservoir in Andra Pradesh.

It has become the first floating solar plant with a full wireless mesh string monitoring solution proving that radio-frequency is a technology suitable for this kind of requeriments. The general architecture includes one DM-108 bridge in each of the string monitoring boxes at site, wirelessly connected to a master station on land where all data is logged and integrated into the plant SCADA.

Our technology behind the DM-108 wireless bridge is based on Narrowband RF. This system is defined as having less than 25 kHz bandwidth and provide an excellent link budget due to low in-band receive noise (narrow receive filters remove most of the noise). Compare to other wireless technologies, our solution has a very strong noise rejection (quite important in solar plants where electromagnetic environment changes through time), co-exists with other wireless networks without any interference problem and near real-time data transmission (tests have ensured polling periods below 5 secs for the whole plant).

This project is included in our solar monitoring portfolio with more than 500 MW monitored since 2019. More information can be found in our project dedicated area
